Kabul PHD Centre is based in Badam Bagh research farm, which is located in North-West of Kabul city , The Centre covers the provinces of Kabul, Parwan, Kapisa, Panshir, Bameyan, Ghazni, Logar, Paktya, Paktika and Wardak provinces
The nursery survey of the region took place between 04/10/2006 and 20/05/2007. 924 nurseries have been registered with a total of 5,524,531 saplings in Kabul, Parwan, Kapisa,Panjshir, Bameyan, Ghazni, Logar and Paktya provinces, for security reason the surveys in Paktika province has been cancelled
