REPORTS
The Perennial Horticulture Development Project (PHDP) is funded by the European Union, and is implemented by the Contractor, a consortium of IAK (Germany), AHT (Germany) and University of Florence Department of Horticulture (Italy).

The first report, the Inception Report, was prepared by the Contractor, and includes any adaptation of the project to the situation on the ground that was deemed necessary. The Inception Report was submitted to the European Union four months after the start of the project. Following the acceptance of the Inception Report, the Progress Reports are made every six months, and detail the progress of the project against the objectives agreed in the Inception Report.

Each report is laid out in a similar manner, and is meant to provide an overview of the progress of the project up to the end of the period reported on. Therefore, for most purposes, it is not necessary to read each report in sequence, but rather, just the latest available report.

Each report has a number of annexes, which provide a lot of supporting detail. Even so, much of the raw data is summarised. The project, however, does keep original data, some of which is available on the website. Access can be provided to the basic data on accessions to the national collections of varieties of fruits and nuts, if required.
